Summary

Community-led Salesforce conferences offer a low-key, authentic way to connect with other professionals without heavy sales hype. Key upcoming events include DreamOle in Spain, Nonprofit Dreamin in North Carolina, and True North Dreamin in Canada, where practical topics like balancing consulting perfection and value are featured. These meetups are great opportunities for Salesforce pros to network, share tools like Dryad Receipting, and learn from community-driven sessions.

Takeaways
  • Community-led events focus on authentic Salesforce networking with minimal marketing.
  • DreamOle, Nonprofit Dreamin, and True North Dreamin are key upcoming Salesforce conferences.
  • Engage with peers to share and learn practical Salesforce consulting tools and approaches.
  • Attend sessions that balance consulting perfection with pragmatic, real-world value.
  • Supporting first-time attendees helps build a stronger Salesforce community network.

Community-led Salesforce conferences are some of the best ways to connect. Since they are organized by the community (and not Salesforce) they are less sales/marketing oriented. This means they tend to be more signal, and less noise. For example, in the last one I attended, Agentforce was barely mentioned. Can you imagine? Here are the next few on my calendar: Mar 27: DreamOle in Valencia, Spain. Mar 25-27: Nonprofit Dreamin in Charlotte, NC. Since I’ll still be in Spain, I won’t be able to attend this year. But my colleague Sarah will be there. Sarah will be promoting Dryad Receipting for Salesforce. It’s her first dreamin event, so if you are going, please introduce yourself and make her feel welcome. May 11, 12: True North Dreamin in Toronto, Canada. I’m a sponsor and speaker. My topic this time is called, “The ‘Good Enough’ Consultant’s Playbook: Balancing Perfection with Pragmatic Value”. The takeaway Hope to see you at one of these awesome events.
