This weekend I escaped the city and visited some close friends in the countryside. One of the many things I love about this couple is learning about things I don’t know about. Each time I visit, I walk away with new, and mostly tech, ideas. For example, my microphone sits above my head on a high boom arm. It’s positioned just out of the camera’s view. I don’t like this setup, but I thought it was the only one available. My friend introduced me to a boom arm that remains low profile. He can extend the arm from under his monitor, above his keyboard and below the camera’s view. This seems much more natural to me. Secondly, he showed me all the cool things he’s doing with AI. With this mic, he dictates instructions to a designer AI. That AI spins off a development AI, a tester AI, and a document writer AI. Each works in tandem and can build incredible things in record time. This allows my friend to work on 5 active mini-projects simultaneously.
